Watershed Stewardship Scholarship Program
 

Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS) is proud to provide financial support for college to  high school students who shows a strong interest in natural resource conservation and the environment. Candidates will monitor the water quality of a chosen stream for a six month period and then make a presentation of their findings to members of the FOLKS Board

The Jack Lewis Watershed Stewardship Scholarship is named in honor of Jack Lewis, whose time with the Friends of Lake Keowee Society spanned 24 years. Jack’s enthusiastic attitude, keen sense of duty, and good heart were evident throughout his tenure.
