Speaker Series 7 - Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw will share the vision, mission and core values of the Sheriff's Office. As part of his presentation, he will also explain how the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office spends tax dollars by providing an overview of the budget. Data on crime in Oconee County will be provided, including the areas surrounding Lake Keowee. The Sheriff will provide a description of how the Oconee County Marine Unit operates in collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources. Highlights of his presentation will include information on fraud and scams, as well as a summary of the current problems in Oconee County. In addition, he will discuss some new laws that were passed this year.​
