FOLKS Needs Volunteers!
That Means YOU!
FOLKS needs dedicated volunteers to join us in our mission to make a positive impact on this place we call home! If you are passionate about Advocacy, Conservation, sign up to volunteer for one of the following positions.
Advisors and Chair Persons: We welcome all members of the community who have the time to volunteer to be advisors or to chair a committee.
Grant Writer: Volunteers will be needed to assist with the writing of Habitat Enhancement Grants and other agency grants. The grant writer will work closely with the board to determine specific goals and needs.
Project Managers: Volunteers will be needed to assist with the implementing of Habitat Enhancement Grants and other agency grants. Project managers will need to coordinate efforts with local volunteers.
Attend Newcomer Events: Represent FOLKS at a table, hand out brochures, issues of our magazine, and answer questions as to how FOLKS represents members as stakeholders in the region. Introduce us to your communities and invite us to your homeowners gatherings
Attend HOA Events: Represent FOLKS at a table, hand out brochures, issues of our magazine, and answer questions as to how FOLKS represents members as stakeholders in the region.
Membership Coordinator: Plan and organize local events: educational programs, membership drives, and outings.
Experienced graphic designer needed: We are hoping to find a skilled graphic designer who is proficient with InDesign and Photoshop to layout and help with the production of our communications.
Experienced photographers needed: We need quality photographs of Lake Keowee and the area. We need landscape and action photos. Photos need to be high resolution. Photo credit will be given for all photos used in our publication.
