The use of best-practices can save money and prevent problems for the homeowner, while helping to protect health, habitat, enjoyment of the waterways, and preserve property values. and related services. *OPCWA is a partnership of conservation interest that includes Clemson University, the US Natural Resource Conservation Service, SC Forestry Commission, Duke Energy, Oconee and Pickens Counties. Major funding is provided through SC Dept. of Health and Environmental Control and the nations's Clean Water Action program. Leadership, partial funding, and volunteer support is provided by FOLKS (Friends of Lake Keowee Society)
