News> FOLKS Website Goes Mobile
Smart cell phones are becoming increasingly popular allowing the user to browse the web while on the go. The web world has begun to take notice by preparing special websites specifically designed for the small screens. Their content is compact, with few graphics and a simple page layout to hopefully accommodate the hundreds of cell phone types and download quickly and cheaply.
FOLKS has just released a website section specifically created for smart phones. Its pages have phone & email contacts for our ombudsmen if your see a problem and DHEC’s 24 hour emergency number for chemical spills and fish kills. Another page provides a plant list recommended for lake shore buffers and erosion control. Our Headquarter page contains current hours and contact information.
Our mobile website is: keoweefolks.org/mobile/
(on a computer, narrow & shorten your browser window for a cell phone effect).
Here are other examples that you can view on your computer or smart phone. When using your cell phone, be aware of your download costs unless you have an unlimited data plan.
